Thank you to all members of the Puke Haupapa Staff: Kelly Edwards, Nell Franklin, Michael Bucksmith together with other staff working behind the scenes who assisted with the Intermediate Sports Exchange Monday and Tuesday of this week in Stratford. Our sports leaders and players, shone on this day, continuing to be superb ambassodors of IPS
Also to all staff who are assisting with all students speeches. I was privileged to hear some of the crafted speeches within the year 5/6 and 7/8 students over the week. I must say some of the topics are fabulous.
Prohibition of Devices
We have had two technicians onsite this week and are continuing to work with Netsafe and N4L support systems.
We are endeavouring to apply google safe search and images to all our student devices which with the number we have in our school, is taking a while. We are hoping to have some access back by Wednesday of next week. We appreciate the disruption and in some cases the angst, this is causing - we are doing our best.
The elearning team led by Mrs Alice Smith have our new ICT User Agreements ready to distribute. These will go out in hard copy to all students on Monday. Please ensure you read them WITH your child, sign them and return them to the Office. Debbie and Mia will document the returned agreements and those students will be the first to access the devices Wednesday. Please note, if we do NOT have the agreement back, for your child/children there will be NO access for them to our school devices.
Happy Birthday / Ra Whanau

You can dress up in the house colours and race (don’t worry the fun one is a team or a three legged race - for those of us a little more challenged by running). So get prepping and if you can lend a hand let us know at the office.

Safety Concerns/Near Misses On Crossings
There have been a number of problems on the Miro Street pedestrian crossing. The traffic and congestion are making it difficult for our young students to manage. We need parents to step up and support us with manning this morning 0830-0855 and afternoon 1455-1515, like our few lovely volunteers are doing now. HELP please. Contact the office to add your name to the roster assist with the safety of our children. Many hands make light work. We would like to not have students manning this in the near future as the traffic is increasing.

Teams:
- Your team may be a school team, a family team or a group of friends.
- You can have up to 6 people in your team but two of these must be adults (over 18).
