We have some really fun events coming up that are outdoors and provide social distancing. If you haven't been to one of our team picnics, put it on your calendar. This year will be the best ever as we have Christian Passannante that has volunteered to be the bbq master for brisket and ribs. You really won't want to miss it on Aug. 23rd.

We are proud to be a team that provides water safety awareness and free swim lessons to children at risk in our community. We do this by hosting the Upstate Splash Charity Open Water Swim. There are only 10 spots left so register soon! We are limiting numbers due to social distancing. We would love to have you join us a swimmer, volunteer or sponsor.

We meet at Devil's Fork State Park Pavillion in front of Eclectic Sun Kayak Rentals.

Arrive at 8:30 and be ready to be in the water by 9:00. Make sure to practice social distancing. Parking is at a premium at this park. Plan accordingly! Sometimes there is a line to get in the gate. Cost to the park is $8 per person or get a state park pass. We love and appreciate kayak support!

We do require safe swimmer floats, if you don't have one, we have extras you can borrow.

You must be registered with USMS (United States Masters Swimming). If you are not, you can fill out a 30 day free trial membership (first time swimmers only).

FYI: Kayak Rentals at Eclectic Sun fill up fast. You must make a reservation a few days in advance.

Team Social and Farewell Party to Andrew Rowe. 6:30 pm at the Commons. (147 Welburn St.) We wish Andrew luck as he is moving to Los Angeles to start a new career in law. We can sit outside to social distance. We hope to see you there! Or make sure to come to his last evening practice at GCAC on Thursday Aug. 6th 6:00 pm!

Aug. 12-23

USMS 2020 Virtual Championships. Wow! This is going to be a really fun event! We will be offering the events at our workouts. It's easy and very cost effective! You can enter for free or you can enter with a $20 registration fee. For more information and to enter click here:

Swimmers swim events during workouts and log them into their swim.com account. Swimmers receive really cool swag and there are random prizes also!

Aug. 23

Group Open Water Swim and Team Picnic at Lake Jocassee. Info listed above. One of our swimmers, Christian Passannante is planning to bbq brisket and ribs. We ask swimmers to bring a side dish. In order to prepare and plan for the grilling please RSVP by Aug. 16th.

Upstate Splash Charity Open Water Swim, Lake Jocassee. Greenville Splash hosts this charity event to raise funds to prevent childhood drowning. We are in need of volunteers and sponsors. There are less than 20 spots left. Click here for more information and to enter:

Greenville County Aquatic Complex:

The pool is set up for long course until Aug. 24th. No equipment available, bring your own from home. Showers are available.

Coached workouts: TuTh 5:30-7:00 am, TuTh 6:00-7:30 pm, TuThF 9:30-11:00 am, F 7:00-8:30 am. No coached workouts on Saturdays, however two lanes are available for Masters from 7:00-9:00 am.

Kickboards: If you want to purchase a kickboard, Let Leslie know they are $20

Kroc Center:

The pool is open! Showers are not available.

Coached workouts: MWF 6:00-7:00 am (Masters swimmers only during this time).

Swimmers need to make a reservation on the Kroc website to reserve a spot to swim during other hours for lap swim.

Pool is closed the week of Aug. 24th for annual pool maintenance.

We are proud to announce that we will be posting our Greenville Splash workouts on our website in real time! Coach Bill Ewell will be sending us four weekly workouts each week. They will be the workouts we do at Greenville County Aquatic Complex. So if you are swimming on your own, you can print and take them to the pool. Thank you so much to all of our swimmers that volunteer for Greenville Splash! Your efforts help to make our community safer in the water and provide fitness and competition activities for swimmers. We host three big events every year: The South Carolina LCM State Championships, The Upstate Splash Charity Open Water Swim, and Adult Learn to Swim. We have taught over 250 adults how to swim! The Upstate Splash has raised money to provide swim lessons for over 2,500 children! We are proud to be a team that gives back to our community!
