I have spent my 14 year nursing career in the hospital setting with a background in orthopedic and surgical departments. I have 3 kids in the district and enjoy gardening and traveling in my free time".

Welcome to Clay Ragan, Science Teacher!

"I grew up in McLeansboro, IL, a small town about an hour west from here in southern Illinois. I graduated high school in 2018. I attended USI for 5 years, where I started out as a nursing major. I switched to a life science teaching major, which put me behind a year, but I am so glad I made the switch because I fell in love with teaching and science. I love teaching at North Posey. The students here are great and are eager to learn. All the faculty and staff are so friendly and have made me feel so welcome here. I am thankful for North Posey giving me the opportunity to teach the subject I love and coach the sport I love, cross country!"

"I'm Kay and am an Instructional Aide here in the Jr High as well as the High School. I help coach 7/8th grade Volleyball and Track & Field. I started out at North Elementary in the cafeteria and moved to this position in January. I enjoy helping the students in class and helping them learn & improve in sports. I'm married to Jeremy and have a 25 yr old son Javon that lives in Charlotte, 3 step daughters Addie, Lilly and Hadley and a schnauzer- Beesly. Go Vikings and Roll Tide!"
