October/November Events
Reclassification Ceremony ~ Tuesday, October 17 (2:30pm in the Auditorium)
Come celebrate our bilingual learners who have worked so hard and achieved proficiency in English, in addition to their native language!
Harvest Festival ~ Friday, October 27 (12:30pm on the primary/intermediate yard)
Volunteer to help us host this fall event with games and fun for students in TK-5th grade. Please contact Tiffany Wood at tdwphoto14@gmail.com if you'd like to join the planning committee and help out!
Dia de los Muertos ~ Week of October 30 - November 3
We will have a community altar set up in the main lobby for the week, in honor of our loved ones who have passed. Any member of the Forestville school community is welcome and invited to bring in photos or other items they wish to contribute. Please be sure to mark the back with a note of who each item should be returned to.
Halloween Costume Parade ~ Tuesday, October 31 (8:45am on the primary yard)
Students in grades TK-5th are welcome (but not required) to join our Halloween costume parade! Parents are welcome to come in and watch, please just be sure to sign in at the office and get a visitor's pass upon arrival. Please note: All dress code guidelines to be upheld. For safety and security for our littlest members, NO face masks allowed for students (or adults) on campus at any time. Remember students still have a full day of learning ahead so please consider the possible level of distraction for your child and others when choosing costumes and accessories. NO knives, weapons, fake blood, or other such scary items.

Coffee with the Principal and Parent Education ~ Friday, November 3 (8:30am in the Library)
Please join us for for coffee/ tea with Ms. Rivera and Parent Education with Sandra Bodley with the Gravenstein Health Action Coalition.
Safe School Ambassadors Training ~ Wednesday and Thursday, November 8-9 (all day, in the Audi)
A select group of middle school leaders will be invited to participate in this two-day training led by Community Matters. Full participation and attendance will be required (i.e. no absences please on these days).
Veterans Day (observed) - NO SCHOOL ~ Friday, November 10
