St. Thomas More School News
“Be patient, then, brothers and sisters, until the Lord’s coming. See how the farmer waits for the land to yield its valuable crop, patiently waiting for the autumn and spring rains. You too, be patient and stand firm, because the Lord’s coming is near.”
(James 5: 7-8)

Conflict Resolution
We understand at times there may be conflict that arises at school. In fact, Jesus tells us that conflict is inevitable, and he tells us how Christians should approach conflict.
Matthew 18:15-17 (see above) teaches us to first go to the person directly involved with the conflict to talk through it. "If your brother or sister sins, go and point out their fault, just between the two of you."
The conflict resolution process at St. Thomas More follows Jesus' teaching. We ask you to please talk directly, in a kind and compassionate manner, to the teacher with whom the conflict origniates. Teachers are always available right after school, and can always be emailed, called, or messaged on Class Dojo. Please see our full Conflict Resolution Policy and Process in our Family Handbook on pg. 31.
