It's the most wonderful time of the year! HU Medical Assistant Lab Skills filming time! These ladies will be verified on 48 different medical skills as well as 19 simulations and be one step closer to becoming nationally certified medical assistants!

Today's PAWsitive Pal is MRS. MEGHAN LINTZ. Mrs. Lintz is a special educator working with our students every day on classroom skills and on integrating into the community. You will see her leading her classroom, in the cafe, and out on community-based instruction. Mrs. Lintz has the best taste in music and is a champion for special education, both in the classroom and out. She coaches Unified Track and the new sport - Unified Bocce. She is organizing our school's representation of Polar Plunge this January 2024. Mrs. Lintz is a top education and it doesn't get Eddie Vedder than her!

GRADUATION PROJECT UPDATE

All freshmen, sophomores, and juniors have been assigned an Everfi project – students, please check your email for instructions. Stay current with your Graduation Project by checking your status in Naviance.

Seniors – notices were provided to all seniors who still owe one or more elements of the Graduation Project. A reminder that the grade for the Graduation Project will appear on the second marking period report card – it will reflect a P or a F (pass or fail), as the Graduation Project is worth 0.25 credit. Students who receive an F (failure) will still be able to meet the Graduation Project requirements, but as it is a graduation requirement, all elements must be completed prior to graduation.

The purchase of these candles will directly benefit local families at Penn State Hershey Children's Hospital, rather than some large corporation.
