THINGS TO DO IN ARIZONA IN THE FALL
Our beautiful state is gorgeous in the fall, with temperatures around 70-80 the weather is more than perfect!
This wonderful season is a perfect time to get outside and get involved in some of the wonders our state has to offer- man-made or natural! With fall break coming up, and temperatures dropping, the outside is getting more and more tempting.

Back to School after Covid-19

This school year has felt very different due to Covid-19, students around the world have reported higher levels of stress and anxiety after transitioning from remote learning back to in person. As the economy and schools start opening up, many are excited to be back, but others are nervous.

She Kills Monsters: Behind the Curtains
When thinking of productions, most people only really think about the actual performance, but almost never of the process behind it. For this production specifically, a lot of work went into this play, which include acting, technicals, set building, set design, prop design, among others. Many talented and hard-working students came together to create a stellar performance within 5 weeks.

Art Club

The Art Club has been offered at Desert Edge since 2009, and in that time it has become a place where students, no matter their level of skill, have a place to celebrate and promote their artistic interests in a welcoming environment.
The club provides an outlet for students to show off their work, and to spread artwork throughout the school. It meets every Tuesday during the first half of power hour, run by their newly elected officers and first ever freshman president!

Chalk Art in the Park

The event takes place November 6th, at Goodyear’s Community Park from 8 am to 2 pm. It is a free event, guests will have the opportunity to watch professional artists display their skills, creating beautiful pieces of artwork on the ground with chalk, as well as buy art work. The event also has music, food vendors, and face painting.
