And we are off to a great start! Once again, thank you for your help in making the first weeks of the 2023-2024 school year great! From the car rider line to parent/teacher communication, your feedback has been invaluable. We are looking forward to Open House on Thursday, August 31st @ 6:00 PM. Many of our club sponsors will be available for questions and answers and our PTO board will hold its first official meeting. Afterwards, parents are welcome to tour the school and your child's classroom. We look forward to seeing you there!

7:45 AM ARRIVAL and TARDIES
As a reminder, please remember that your child is tardy if they arrive after 7:45 AM. We begin our day with Morning Devotion in the church promptly at 7:45. It is important that all of our students are in attendance at this time. Extenuating circumstances happen; however please
know that if your child is tardy, you must park in the big parking lot (not the car rider line near gate) and walk your child into the office to sign them in. The safety of our students is priority and all cars must be parked in marked spaces. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
IRIS ALERT SYSTEM - TEST PERFORMED YESTERDAY
If you did not receive an email, text and voice message yesterday, please call the office and give your emergency contact information. We will continue to use the IRIS (Immediate Response Information System) for weather alerts, emergency situations, etc.

NWEA MAP GROWTH ASSESSMENT (1st-5th)
Our NWEA fall assessment window is from September 5th -29th for grades 1st - 5th. For more information regarding NWEA, please see the links in today's newsletter. A schedule will be shared with parents next week.
BAZAAR RAFFLE TICKETS & KING AND QUEEN REGISTRATION
Don't forget to sell your raffle tickets! If you have not already turned in your registration form to participate in the King & Queen Contest, please do so before Friday.
