Johnson Jaguars
Your Weekly Update from Johnson Elementary School
A Note of Thanks
Dear Jaguar Families,
I wanted to take a minute and thank all of you for coming to watch our last Johnson School Spirit Parade. The kids and staff were very excited to see all of you and we loved feeling all of your positive energy.
Additionally, our paw print campaign raised $1,268, beating our goal of $1,250!!! It is so nice to see our small but mighty community come together once again for our students. The top prize is a DJ Slatts dance party which will happen in a couple of weeks!
I also want to take a minute to thank Dr. Dave who came on Halloween (a very brave man) to offer our school some STEM activities. We made candy catapults, played with dry ice bubbles, made some alginate slime and had a grand finale of sorbet made with dry ice. It was the perfect high energy event leading into our parade.
Please enjoy some photos below.
Mrs. Turner
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
DAILY REMINDERS:
Smart watches should be in backpacks during the day.
Please label your child's clothing and water bottles. We are hoping to keep our lost and found from growing any larger.
Please send your students to school with a water bottle and a snack each day. We have bottle filling machines that students can use to refill as needed. Everyone has snack daily and should bring that in from home.
Remember also that you can update PickUp Patrol anytime. This is the way we reconcile attendance and run dismissal so please add any changes to your account in a timely manner.
