Pre-Assessment Time (FASTBRIDGE UNIVERSAL SCREENING)
Parents and Guardians,
This week, all scholars will be assessed with the Universal Screener known as - FASTBRIDGE. FASTBRIDGE Universal screening is conducted to identify our scholars’ strengths and weaknesses so that our teachers and staff can better prepare our scholars. Universal screening assessments are typically brief, reliable, and valid assessments conducted with all students from a grade level.
To ensure that your scholar performs well on this screener, below are a few suggestions that can assist with their performance:
1. Get plenty of rest
2. Make sure that Chromebook is fully charged
3. Take the assessment seriously; don't just select any answer-think it through
4. Use all of the time allotted

Sporting Events Expectations for ALL Clements and Newton County Schools Fans and Spectators
Elementary and middle school students are welcome spectators to high school athletic events in Newton County School System, as respectful partnerships among students, staff, parents, and the community are integral to student success. Yet, we must take precautionary measures to ensure the safety and well-being of all students, which remains the district’s highest priority.
Due to the large crowds at our football games, students under the age of 14 must be accompanied by a supervising adult. Students who are not with a supervising adult will not be permitted in the stadium. Please note, that high school students are not acceptable substitutes for supervising adults. Thank you for your partnership and support.

Spectators are not allowed to enter the competition area prior to, during, or after the conclusion of the contest. Violators are subject to removal from the venue. Thank you for your cooperation in the promotion of good sportsmanship at today’s event.
