Issue 9 is right on time. We celebrated Red Ribbon week this week to raise awareness about healthy life choices and risks of drugs and other negative influences. This week's background photo is from our K-6 classroom celebrating Red Ribbon Week and dressing in Hawaiin to show off their commitment to "leing" off of drugs. Counseling Support - College

Whether your student is a senior or freshman, our counselor Mrs. Erickson can support them as they begin their college journey. Wednesday, October 30th at 5:30 pm, we will officially Kick Off our PTA. We are super excited and would love to have you all there. We will be meeting at the High School Site at 1151 San Juan Street in Tustin.

This year, Tustin Connect is offering Journalism for the first time. Our students have been hard at work interviewing students, taking pictures, and putting everything together. ROP Classes and Info Session Tuesday, Oct. 29 Room 30 @ 9:30 AM

Take a ROP Class this Spring! Regional Occupational Program, ROP, are offered throughout the day morning through evening and are FREE for high school students! They offer Culinary Arts, Crime Scene Investigation, Emergency Medical Responder, Dental Assistant Front and Back Office, and MANY more! They allow you to earn grades and credits towards high school graduation. ROP classes can satisfy A-G requirements for UC and CSU Colleges! You gain experience and possible internships! The experience will assist you in choosing college majors and enhance college admission applications. You can’t go wrong with ROP! See Ms. Erickson and register today!

Update: Make-Up Picture Day/Senior Promotion Pictures

Make-up Picture Day is November 7th 9-11 am at both sites for those that didn't like their picture or missed the day. Forms are going home this week. We will also be getting information out for 8th grade and senior pictures as well.

Earthquake Drill (Thursday 10/17)

As all schools did, Tustin Connect participated in an earthquake drill to promote safety for students and staff in the event of a major earthquake in California. We discussed what to do and the importance of remaining calm. For parents, remember in the event of an emergency you or someone on the emergency list would come to the school with valid photo id to pick up your student.
