Cell Phone and Smart Watch Use During School
We have noticed a trend that is causing some disruptions in the classroom. Students are using their smart watches to text or call home without teacher knowledge or permission. As our handbook and the student Acceptable Use Policy states, cell phones and other electronic devices should be shut off and in backpacks. While students can continue wearing smart watches they should be in airplane mode. If students need to communicate with you they should call from the classroom or main office. If a child is using a device without teacher permission it will be confiscated until the end of the day. Frequent occurrences of unauthorized use could result in no longer being allowed to bring these devices to school. Thank you for your assistance with this.

Take Your Child to Work Day - April 28, 2022
Take Your Child to Work Day will be observed on Thursday, April 28, 2022. For those unfamiliar, this is a national day that gives children an opportunity to shadow their parents/guardians at work. If your child will be visiting your workplace please complete this form by Monday, April 18th. In order for your child's absence to be considered EXCUSED on April 28th, this form must be submitted in advance. By returning this form or providing a note to your child’s teacher prior to April 18th we will place your child’s name on our EXCUSED ABSENCE list, eliminating the need for you to call the school.
