Dear Families,

Due to the inclement weather over the past several weeks, we were required to make some changes to the 2021-22 school calendar:

• April 14, 2021 - School will now be in session for students (was previously a snow day)
• April 19, 2021 - Will be an Act 80 day for staff. (No school for students)
• Last Day for Students: Friday, June 3, 2022 (this is a half-day Act 80 day. Students will attend in the morning. The last scheduled day for students was previously June 2)
• Last Day for Staff: Monday, June 6, 2022

The District values respectful, civil, and diplomatic participation in our Committees. There are multiple avenues for families and community members to attend our meetings in person or virtually. See our website for additional information and see below for some upcoming committee meetings. Hope to see you there!

February 7-11 was School Counselors Week!

Thank you to our IASD school counselors for helping our students reach their potential and recognize their strengths. We appreciate all you do to support students, teachers, and the school community!

Recently, the U.S. Department of Education released updates to the College Scorecard that make the tool more useful for students and families weighing college options. The tool also includes new and updated information that may be beneficial to school counselors, college access providers, researchers, and other critical stakeholders.
