City of Irvine Summer Recreation Activities Newsletter for IUSD
The City of Irvine’s summer recreation activities newsletter for IUSD is now available online. This latest edition includes information about enrichment activities and camps for school-aged children. Volunteering at ECLC
If you are interested in volunteering at ECLC, please follow the steps below:
Complete the volunteer application before you arrive!
You will need to bring in immunizations for the following:
- Negative TB test or TB Risk Assessment from your doctor within the last year
- Pertussis (DTAP/TDAP) current within last 10 years
- Measles Vaccine or titer (blood test) showing antibodies
- Current Flu Vaccine or a signed letter that you are opting out this year
Come to the front office with all your immunizations and a form of ID for our background screening process
Once you have completed the above steps you will be in our system for the rest of the year and will be able to come in and out of the front office to sign in and sign out each time you volunteer
You may reach out to PTA on how to get involved in volunteering for their upcoming events without going through the above process.
Help Me Grow
Help Me Grow connects children and their families to developmental services to enhance the development, behavior and learning of children birth through eight years. By calling the toll free number 1.866.GROW.025, (1.866.476.9025) or using the online link, parents, caregivers, child care providers, early educators and health care providers have a point of access to developmental services for all young children who live in Orange County.

Care Solace
In order to better serve our students, families, and staff IUSD has partnered with Care Solace mental health services to connect families to outside care providers. Care Solace provides concierge services to assist families in navigating mental health services in the community. To get started click here or call 888-515-0595.

Services For Families With Young Children
Services for Families with Young Children (SFYC) is a three-six month program for parents/guardians with young children based at The Priority Center. The Priority Center works with families helping to support them in fostering a safe and nurturing home environment for children.
Family Support Network
Family Support Network offers a Free behavior management services for children ages 0-5. It includes five individualized sessions to meet the unique needs of each family. They help to educate families experiencing behaviors due to unexpected changes, diagnosis, or emotional trauma.

City of Irvine Child Resource Center
The CRC Lending Library features tools to support every area of children's development from birth through school age, including:
- Children's books to extend early learning
- Child development, parenting, activity, and curriculum books
- Family child care business reference materials
- Educational toys: math manipulatives, music and movement materials, emergent literacy resources, science materials
- Lamination and Ellison die cut machines. Click here to view list of available die cuts.
FREE Meals Families Forward
If families need food assistance, Families Forward offers a drive-thru food pantry (M-TH) 10 a.m. - 4 p.m., located at 8 Thomas Drive in Irvine. The drive-thru stations will provide non-perishable items to families each week. No appointment is necessary, but registration is required. Families Forward also offers counseling services, housing programs, career services and more.
