It's Marching Band Season!!!
First Football Halftime Performance
Senior Night is Sept. 1st
First Competition
Competition information will be sent out via charms email and remind 101, as well as posted on the website.
Meet the Riders
After the football game, young children are invited to meet the band. They will be given a t-shirt and some goodies and listen to a few songs as the stadium clears out.
This game will also have future rough riders (currently 8th grade band members) join them in the stands during the game! Anyone who is zoned for RHS is able to play.
President's Bowl
Tickets
Each student is expected to sell 10 tickets and they are $7 each. The tickets are available in the RHS office (see Trudi). A quick reminder, activity passes DO NOT WORK for President’s Bowl, so everyone attending the game will need a ticket.
RHS Football Game
Roosevelt vs. Washington @ 7 PM
The RHS band is the visiting team, so we will only play in the stands during the game, not at halftime. We will not be in uniform - but students will wear this year's show shirts and bring their pep band folders.

Updates from the Band
School is back in session and the bands are up and running! We are thoroughly excited for this year and cannot wait to share the musical talent of your students with you at concerts! Please familiarize yourself with our website, especially if you are a new parent.
If you have not signed into your charms account yet, please do so. You will use your student's ID number (given from school), followed by the group code: rooseveltband . Then create a password and there you will see updated fundraisers, account balances, trip balances, etc. We are only using this as a platform for fundraised funds until the switch to CutTime is complete. Please be patient with us while this occurs. If you have questions, email directors.
Students renting a school instrument should have received a paper form from us and need to return it back as soon as possible. It is $70 for the year, unless you qualify for free/reduced lunch. Visit our website for more information.

Individuals desiring to serve as a band chaperones are categorized as “unsupervised volunteers” and must undergo an annual criminal background check. You can do this by completing the Release of Information Authorization Disclosure found here: https://www.sf.k12.sd.us/our-district/volunteer
