WEATHER ADVISORY
We want to provide you with information regarding a rare weather event that could impact our local community and area, in general. As you may be aware, Tropical Storm Hilary is expected to bring heavy rainfall and strong winds to our region from Sunday into Monday. We want you to know that we are closely monitoring developments and working diligently to manage any potential impacts.

SCHOOL NEWS
PRINCIPAL MESSAGE - HAWTHORNE HIGH SCHOOL
The 2023-2024 school year has been off to an amazing start! On Monday, August 14th, Hawthorne High School successfully welcomed back to campus our entire staff and student body. Every morning, students have been arriving to school ready to engage in rigorous and interactive learning activities. On Friday, August 18th, HHS hosted a "Cougarville Fair" to share all the resources available on campus and in the community that support our students in having strong academics, consistent attendance, positive behaviors, and social-emotional health. HHS encourages all students to get involved with extracurricular activities and athletics so that they can connect with the school and their classmates in positive ways.
