We have 44 lost jackets and sweatshirts from our first month of school! Please look at these pictures and see if one of them belongs to you. Just email a brief description to Mrs. Wagner at wagnerc@colton.k12.or.us and we can send it home with your child.

Colton Elementary School is looking for a parent/guardian for our CES Site Council Committee. The Site Council meets between 4-6 times a year to discuss the development and implementation of professional growth for school's staff and improvement of student instructional programs. If this is something you might be interested in volunteering for, please contact Shannon at earlss@colton.k12.or.us.

CES Jog A Thon fundraiser will be held on October 17 this year! This annual fundraiser has helped fund class field trips, assemblies, provided student yearbooks, Music and PE equipment. Donation envelopes will be sent home with students today. Collecting donations are not required to participate in the Jog a Thon. Students will run with their classmates at their classes designated time. Please make sure your child is dressed for the weather appropriately and wear comfortable closed toe shoes that day. Thanks for supporting Colton Elementary School!

Friendly Reminder: All medication (over-the-counter and prescribed) needs to be transported to school by a parent, and medication authorization forms must be filled out before office staff can administer medication. The medication both prescribed and over the counter should be in the original packaging, and can only be given as directed by the prescribing physician or medication label.

Join us for our next PTA meeting, we will be finalizing details for the fall festival!

We also will have all member shirts available to pick up at the meeting, if you can’t make it please reach out and arrange shirt pick up and get filled in from the monthly meeting!

PTA: Donations now being collected at the front of the school in our Candy Monsters!

We will gladly accept individually wrapped candies, any small prize trinkets, store bought cakes or cookies for the cake walk, and fall/ Halloween decorations!

PTA: Last but certainly not least, we are excited to invite you all to the second annual Fall Festival, October 26th from 6-8pm in the gym and covered area!

This event will be FREE to all families. Raffle tickets and food will be sold to support the PTA and future events, but ALL games will be free of charge! We encourage kids to wear their school appropriate Halloween costumes, although this is not required. Come out for a great fall fun evening!

Molalla Aquatic Center is hosting Special Olympics Swimming at our facility this fall, starting September 30th. Practices will be on Saturdays from 11:00am- 12:30pm through November 11th. Participants will be coached on all swimming strokes and skills. They will have an hour swim practice/lesson with some free swim time at the end. All ages and abilities are welcomed. There will be a fun swim meet at the end of the season. The swim meet date will be announced later. This is a free activity for the athletes. Participants need the medical forms completed before they can participate. If you have any questions, please call the Molalla Aquatic Center at 503-759-7665.
