Letter from the Principal
It's been an interesting start to February! With weather and illness we have missed a lot of school. Hopefully, that will start to improve as we are doing so much in class each day.
Believe it or not, we celebrate the 100th day of school this week. It is exciting to see the growth of our students at this point in the year.
Next week, we have Parent/Teacher Conferences. This is a great opportunity to connect with your child's teacher and to learn what they need to work on to prepare for Kindergarten. We also begin to consider next year as we head into February. If your child is moving on to Kindergarten next year, please consider attending the Kinder Visits that each Elementary School offers in March. Also, the district is asking each family to complete a Family Engagement survey during this time period. It can be accessed at the following link: https://forms.gle/b2owB7tkoLv3uM2b6. The window for completing the survey is February 7th through the 18th.
A small note about safety as we get into the heart of Winter: please remember to buckle up your child when you are entering and leaving our Parking Lot. Also, remember to avoid double-parking as this impacts other families and is unsafe.
We very much look forward to seeing most of you next week! Have a safe and healthy February and thank you for the privilege of working with your children!
