Good Morning E.L.M. Families,
Happy New Year! I hope you all enjoyed your holidays.
Today we have a half day of school with dismissal at 11:30am. Ski Club will also begin today. If your child is skiing, please remind them to bring all of their winter gear and ski equipment to school this morning. They will leave school following our regular dismissal at 11:30. We will eat lunch before everyone leaves for the day, but we do also recommend sending your student to school with a snack or spending money to purchase something from the snack bar, if they will be skiing. They will return to school at 5:00pm this afternoon.

News, Updates & Reminders:
* The School Committee will meet on Wednesday afternoon at 5:00pm. As always, you are welcome and encouraged to attend. The agenda is attached below.
* It appears that winter is finally showing up this weekend. Please know, especially our new families, that it is our routine to send an email & robocall in the event of a school delay or cancellation as early or as soon as possible. We also post it on our school's Facebook page and the local television stations.
* No school on Monday, Jan. 15th in observance of Martin L. King Jr. Day.
Planning Ahead:
* Chess Club will not meet on Wednesday, Jan. 31st, as noted on the calendar. We will meet on Thursday, Feb. 1st of that week instead. My apologies for the change in schedule.
PTG Updates & Reminders:
* The next PTG meeting will take place on Monday afternoon at 5:00pm at the school. We welcome you to join us.
Health & Safety:
* A friendly reminder to please email or call Nurse Kate and your child's teacher if they will be absent or tardy. We also appreciate a lunch order, if your student will be late. Thank you
