First Trimester Progress Reports
Kindergarten
Parents of kindergarten students will receive a message via Seesaw regarding students' progress for the first trimester on October 6. If they haven't already, kindergarten parents should contact their child's teacher to get connected to their Seesaw class.
Grades 1-5
Students in Grades 1-5 will be sent home with a printed mid-term progress report on October 6. The report will only include comments regarding student progress in math and language arts.
October HERO Goal
Tioga students are expected to be a HERO, which means that they have responsibility, extend kindness to themselves and others, are respectful and observe safety rules. Each month, the entire school focuses on a behavior goal that is aligned to our HERO expectations. For October, students are focusing on using kind words, especially in the lunchroom and at recess.
To highlight our successes, the school goal is for each classroom to complete a paper chain of 30 acts of Kindness between October 2- October 31. For example, if a student gives a compliment or used good manners, their teacher will have them write their name on a paper chain along with the kind words they said. If our school is able to achieve our goal of 30 words of kindness in all classrooms, we will have a Minute to Win It Assembly at the end of the month.
