This week's newsletter contains important information and exciting opportunities.

The freshman class is hosting a tailgate tonight from 6:00-7:00 PM on the west side of Coffman Stadium.

The PSAT will be administered on Wednesday, October 12th. Coffman will operate on a normal school day schedule. Students should report to their assigned testing locations no later than 7:55 AM. All juniors will be tested and should report directly to the auxiliary gym. Sophomores and freshmen who pre-registered should report directly to the main gym. Some students will test in other locations but have been personally notified prior to testing. The test is paper and pencil. Students will need two #2 pencils and a calculator. The test is scheduled to conclude prior to "A" lunch.

Dublin Coffman Class of 2023 will graduate on Sunday, May 28, 2023 at 1:30 PM at The Jerome Schottenstein Center. Complete details regarding graduation and senior class events will be shared in the early spring of 2023.

Coffman has many clubs for student participation. Search "coffmanclubs" on Instagram for upcoming club meeting dates, times and locations. A complete list of clubs, including a description and contact information can also be found HERE . There is something for everyone! Get involved!

All students are welcome to attend visits with College Admission Representatives this fall at Coffman. The visits are for about 40 minutes and are held in the guidance office. Students may register at: https://app.schoolinks.com/dashboard/student/school-events

National Honor Society applications are due on Wednesday, October 19th by 3:00 PM for any eligible junior or senior. Important Updates September 2022

The Columbus Suburban College Fair is happening this weekend on Sunday, October 9th, from 1-3:30 at Otterbein University. This provides students and families with the opportunity to explore a variety of colleges and speak directly with admissions representatives from all over the country. Each college has a separate table where information is displayed and a representative is available to answer your questions. Over 100 colleges will be arranged alphabetically in the Clements Recreation Center on Otterbein's campus. Please have your child pre-register using this link and check out the attached flyer for more information about the event.

2022 Columbus Suburban College Fair Flyer

AP Exam Registration continues now through October 15th, 2022. Registration and payment will be completed ONLINE ONLY using the District's PaySchools Central and fees are now $98 per test. Click here for a detailed information sheet regarding this year's procedure for registration.

Twilight School is an after-school program staffed by Coffman teachers that provides students with homework help. It will take place every Wednesday in the DCHS library from 3:00 pm to 4:45 pm. Students do not need to remain at Twilight School the entire time and will have the freedom to leave early if needed. Transportation will be provided at 4:45 pm. No School Next Friday

There will be no school next Friday, October 14. Teachers and staff will be participating in professional development. We look forward to seeing our students back in the classrooms on Monday, October 17.

No Working Wednesday next week

Our high schools will operate on their normal schedule on Wednesday, Oct. 12 and not on the Working Wednesday schedule. This is because juniors will be administered the PSAT on that day.

Performing Arts Parent Survey

As a part of our regular curriculum review cycle, Dublin City Schools is interested in community feedback around education in the area of the performing arts. Performing Arts in Dublin includes all music, instrumental and drama curriculum. Thank you for your input in this important process. This survey will be open for input through October 16, 2022.
