A Few Words from the Principal
Middle school can be a tough time. Students are growing physically and mentally while discovering who they want to be. During the middle school years, students make new friends, change friends, and realize they have friends who they don't want to be friends with anymore. Knowing how to handle these situations can be challenging. We spent our Pack time this week talking about kindness and empathy.
- Kindness: being friendly, generous, and supportive.
- Empathy:being able to understand and share the feelings for others "walking in their shoes"
We asked them to consider the feelings of those around them when they act and respond. We challenged them to increase their acts of kindness and empathy as they go through their day. We hope you see an increase at home as well.
Please talk to your student about their acts of kindness this week.
Take care!

Wolf Pack Readers - Library Update
What a fantastic week it's been at the Book Fair! We've seen such incredible excitement from our students as they dive into all the new books. And the best part? That excitement is totally contagious! ππAnd, thereβs some more exciting news to share β there are book clubs popping up left and right, meeting before school and at the end of the dayβ¦ It's just awesome to see our students sharing their love for reading with their buddies! πβ€οΈ
Big shoutout to our amazing parents and families who contributed to our teachers' eWallets. Your generosity means our teachers have been able to stock up on even more awesome books for their classrooms. Thanks a million! ππIt's not too late to contribute to the teachers' eWallets! They appreciate every single donation, no matter the size. Every bit helps to bring more wonderful books to our classrooms (links below). ππ
As we approach the final days of the fair, here's what you need to know: you can pre-order the next "Diary of a Wimpy Kid: No-Brainer"! It'll be delivered right to your hands on October 24. Mark your calendars! ππBut that's not all β during parent-teacher conferences, we're opening up the Book Fair once again for shopping. Plus, we'll have student wish lists on hand to help you pick out exactly what your kiddos are itching to read. ποΈβ¨
