Dear Walker families,

We learned today that Friday, February 2nd and Monday, February 19th will now be regular student school days. Please take note of this calendar change to help with lost weather days.

Important Dates

Monday, January 29th - WILD ABOUT KINDNESS DAY! Wear animal print, camouflage clothing, or color of the day - GREEN.

Tuesday, January 30 - DREAM OF KINDNESS! Wear school appropriate pajamas or color of the day- ORANGE.

Wednesday, January 31st - HATS OFF FOR KINDNESS! Wear your favorite hat or color of the day- RED.

Wednesday, January 31st - Blood Drive 2:00 - 6:00 pm

Thursday, February 1 - 100 Days of Kindness, Dress as a 100 year old, or 100 day shirt or color of the day- BLUE

Friday, February 2nd (This is now a school day to make up for a snow day) - KINDNESS ROCKS! Dress like a Rockstar or color of the day- PURPLE.

Thursday, February 8th - Lunch with Dads or a Friend

Thursday, February 8th - Skate Night at Roller City 6:00-8:00 pm

Friday, February 9th - KKids Meeting in the library 7:15am

Parent Nights for Transitions to middle, junior, and senior High

Our parent transition nights are about to start! Current Walker 5th graders and families, you are invited to Helen Tyson Middle School on Wednesday, January 31st from 5:30-7:00 pm. DTSOI is having a parent night on Thursday, February 15th from 4:30-7:00 pm. DTSOI is an open enrollment public conversion charter school within the Springdale Public Schools District offering on site and full virtual options to students in 5th-12th.
