Board Meeting Highlights - 10/11/2021
The Flemington-Raritan Regional Board of Education held a regular, in-person meeting on October 11, 2021. The Board swore into office new member Murty Varanasi, who will serve on the Board until the term expires on December 31, 2022. Below is a recap of the regular meeting:
- All agenda motions were approved, with the exception of Policy Item 2.5 which was tabled. The agenda is online here: Agenda.
- The Superintendent's Report included a presentation by Lead Nurse Kathleen Barbee, linked here, and district updates and information presented by Dr. McGann, linked here.
- The Board approved the Emergency Virtual or Remote Instruction Program for the 2021-2022 School Year -- Continuing with Confidence: The Road Forward, linked here.

It is anticipated that a second reading and adoption of the above policies will be scheduled for the October 25 Board of Education meeting.

The Board abolished Policy 8810 - Religious Holidays.
