This week we had the privilege of having Face to Face Ministries come to our school and share the love of God with our students. Face to Face’s vision is for Catholic youth across western Canada to find fulfillment in a life in Christ.

Ask your child(ren) about their experience with Face to Face. There was so much laughter, sharing of good thoughts with classmates and praying together. It truly was such a beautiful experience for the staff and students. Face to Face left us all with a message about how we can get to know God? They discussed with students that we can spend time with Him in prayer. We are all made for Heaven, for Freedom. Such a beautiful and inspirational message for the kids.

Grades 6, 7 and 8 students are invited to join the Elevate Junior Youth Conference at OLPH on December 3rd. There is a $45 registation fee per student - Please contact the parish you have any questions.

Dear Families,

As you have no doubt been watching and experiencing, Alberta has been suffering from high rates of RSV, Influenza and COVID-19. We want to thank you for making the right choice to keep your children home when they are experiencing symptoms. In order to help us have the best possible data and communicate with Alberta Health Services if required, we would ask that you report any flu or cold like symptom under the FLU heading in the School Messenger App.

Using Safe Arrival, parents can report:

• FLU - Illness with flu and/or cold like symptoms

• ILL - Other illness or injury.

• EXC - Parent Excused (i.e taking your child on a holiday)

Thanks for your attention to this matter, as always, we are working hard to ensure that all students and staff remain safe.

Parent Council is looking for volunteers to help us the day of, to set up and take down tables, run a concession and a bake sale! If you are also able to BAKE something for the bake sale, please let them know! We would need bake sale items to be dropped off at the school on Friday December 2 nd .
