Counseling Updates
- Happy November Families! Our Mindset of the Month is Attitude of Gratitude! This Mindset teaches us the importance of seeking the positives from every experience and being thankful for all that we have. Through this mindset, we learn that we can use the positives or the negatives of our lives as the foundation on which to build. Choose the positives, and we are on our way toward extraordinary success; choose the negatives, and we embark on path toward disappointment. This Mindset guides students to focus on all the things they have, leaving no time to be distracted by what they don’t. Here is an at-home activity your family can complete to grow your gratitude.

Square 1 Art
Square 1 Art came home in backpacks yesterday! Square 1 Art is a fundraiser that takes your child’s artwork and makes it into great products for you to purchase. These products are wonderful keepsakes and gifts for family and friends. Your child’s beautiful artwork can be made into many fun products such as magnets, t-shirts, mouse pads, ornaments, and much more!
The money raised from this fundraiser will enable the art department to continue its efforts in supporting our students. Your help is needed for us to continue offering these opportunities to our school.
Summer Camp: Camp Invention
In partnership with the National Inventors Hall of Fame®, Sharon Elementary is pleased to offer the nationally acclaimed Camp Invention program to children entering kindergarten through sixth grade. This exciting, weeklong summer adventure provides opportunities for open-ended, hands-on exploration of science, technology, engineering and more! Rotating through a variety of exciting activities each day, children have fun collaborating with friends, thinking creatively and inventing their own solutions to real-world challenges.
