The National Technical Honor Society is currently raising funds to aid in the purchase of Uber vouchers for patients who require transportation to and from the hospital for chemotherapy treatments.

Ms. Reyes, our Parent Liaison, our ESOL students, and the ESOL club have been working on a Care Closet and Pantry that will soon be available to our Panthers in need. Ms. Reyes has put together a wonderful list of items needed and our ESOL club and students have prepared collection boxes around the school for these items!

Please consider looking at home for any items on our list for the pantry. Boxes can be found in the following places:

1. 3DE office
2. G building - Tolmich's room
3. E/F/J Building - Clinic and Dr. Edward's office
4. Main Office
5. Media Center
6. A Building - Counseling office and Mrs. Queen's office

As temperatures drop and winter approaches, we would like to remind everyone of our dress code policy. To ensure the safety and security of all individuals within the building, no hats, hoods, or headwear are allowed. This helps us to identify each person in the building if necessary. Additionally, blankets or pillows cannot be used during school hours. We ask that you wear an extra layer of clothing or bring a jacket for chilly mornings or classrooms. Remember, hats, hoods, headwear, blankets, and pillows are not allowed inside the building. Thank you for your cooperation.

Urgent Messages can be delivered to the Attendance Office.

The school does not accept flowers, balloons and other non-school items for delivery to students. No outside food is allowed except packed lunches from home. That means... NO DELIVERIES OF FOOD ANYWHERE ON CAMPUS FROM PARENTS OR DELIVERY SERVICES.

No District Assessments will be given early. If you are absent on the test date you can contact the Assessment Office for a time to make-up the test.

Please remember YOU are responsible for your attendance.

• If you decide to stay home during testing days because you aren't required to test, this is an UNEXCUSED absence. Click here for reasons absences will be excused.
• If you are planning on checking out on a testing day, please know that this is only allowed after all testing is complete. Please bring a note in the morning before school to the attendance office stating when you are planning on checking out and have it signed by a parent/guardian with a contact number. Only those that are on the student's emergency contact list in the parent portal are allowed to check a student out. All the regular attendance policies apply toward excused and unexcused absences.
• If you are planning to check in on a testing day, please note that it is possible that you will be held by the attendance office until testing is over or sent to the media center, so we don't disturb the testing areas. Please bring your excuse note at the time of check- in. Parents aren't required to come in with students to check in

* Please note that on days with alternate schedules, our attendance office sees a high volume of students. Parents and students checking in and out may face a long wait times.

November is Apply to College Month in Georgia and the College and Career Center is celebrating by offering an Instant Decision Day! Some of our In-State schools will be on campus for this event. Seniors you must sign up to attend and follow the instructions to make sure you are prepared for the day of the event.

This month PHS Seniors will have the opportunity to take advantage of applying to In-State Colleges & Universities for FREE and a few Out-of-State Colleges & Universities.

These visiting colleges and universities will provide an opportunity for free and to get an instant decision on those days. Seniors, click here to sign up for these events.
