MORNING PROCEDURES (DROP OFF) - There are numerous options available for morning drop off at Will Rogers. We have drop off lines on the East side and South side of the building starting at 7:30am. Students may be dropped at either location in the morning. Additionally, the front bus loop may be utilized, but parents must stay in the car and drop quickly. Please do not block any buses if they are entering the loop. If you would like to walk your child to the front door, please park in the N parking lot across from the front and walk your student across to the door.
AFTERNOON PROCEDURES (PICK UP) - The afternoon procedures follow stricter guidelines so that we can safely match student with car tag. The East side (playground loop) is for 1st and 2nd grade students only. NO Kindergarten students will be loaded on the East side. There is a walkup location on the sidewalk on the E side. Please stay behind the stop sign on the sidewalk that is painted on the walk. ALL Kindergarten students and their 1st and 2nd grade siblings must be picked up on the South side (K wing).
The front Office will be LOCKED from 3:00-3:30pm. If a student is needing to be picked up early, they must be checked out prior to 3:00pm and will be counted tardy. The doors will reopen at 3:30, but only for information and additional needs other than pick up. In case of an emergency, call 918-423-4542 during the 3:00-3:30 locked time.
Car Line is smoothing out and will continue to improve with the above guidelines. Reminder that cars may not turn into the line off any side streets. Please go to the back of the line and be courteous to others. Gates will be closed for the end of car line at 3:40.
