Park Falls Elementary Board Report

The January drill is an evacuation drill. We will schedule that for later in the month when the temperatures appear to be warming. The administrative team is planning a tabletop exercise to look at more complicated intruder scenarios for this spring. Our initial planning includes a rollout process to ensure all staff in the district are familiar with the options within our Safety Plan. As age appropriate, we will plan a tabletop to review with students.

The administrative team is working to have additional Star360 Assessment training and a Fastbridge training supported by CESA 12 on February 15. When implementing new products it is important to continue to build our capacity with those products. These will be about 90 minutes for each topic.

The students in Mr. Tollakson's 5th grade class are the December RED Winners. They read the most out of all the classrooms in the school.
