Happy Monday! I can't believe we are already (almost) to December. I hope everyone had a nice break! We have a little less than four weeks until our winter break and so much to accomplish! I know the colder weather makes it harder to get up in the mornings, but please make sure your child is on time to school. Even being a few minutes late is not only disruptive to the whole class, but can also be unnerving for children when they start the day behind.

Thank you for taking the time to come to parent conferences. We know that students are most successful when we all work together as a team. As a working parent, I know it's hard to adjust schedules and meet during the school day, so thank you for making it a priority.

With the weather turning colder, we know students will be wearing more sweatshirts and jackets. Please put your child's name on the inside of the clothing so we can return lost items to their owner. This is the time of year where we have the most clothes in our lost and found. We will donate all items in our lost and found on 12/21. Thank you!

This year we are changing the format of our Winter Dance Show in an event to make it easier for all students to be part of the show. Due to our small MP room, we had to split the show into three times. Please see the times below on the flyer. You are welcome to invite family, but we ask that you only attend the shows in which your student(s) are performing to allow room for everyone. The shows will be livestreamed on my YouTube channel and available to watch at a later date/time. We are so excited to see our kids perform! A huge thank you to Mrs. Snow for all her hard work on the show!

On Saturday, December 9th, from 9am-12pm, we will hold our second annual Holiday Market in the MP Room. Santa will also be in attendance for pictures (bring your own camera/phone!). Please sign up to volunteer here: https://signup.com/go/hZLeQOY

The Parent Portal is where you will find your teacher assignments and any documents pertaining to your student (test scores like CAASPP, report cards, etc.). We love to help families and our goal this year is for us to help get families logged into the portal. It saves us a lot of time to devote more to the kids if parents and family members can use the portal. If you do not know your login info, click on the link to retrieve it. Your email address (if asked) is the one you provided to us during registration. If you did not give an email address, please update your emergency card first and that will update your email address in Q. Thank you!
