Community 4th of July Celebration

Come out and join the community of Mountainburg on July 4th!


District 3 Fire Department will be at Silver Lining Truckstop with hot dogs and drinks for $5.00. For a great view of the fireworks show, come to the Presbyterian Church for an ice cream social around 7:00 PM. Bring a chair, sit a spell, visit with new and old friends, and enjoy the show!

Stay Safe in the Summer Heat

Conversion Charter Information

Thursday, June 15, MHS held an open hearing for the community to discuss the proposal of a conversion charter for Mountainburg High School. Below is what was discussed. Please contact MHS Principal, Courtney Cristee at courtney.cristee@mountainburg.org for questions, comments, and suggestions.

Clarification: Open enrollment charters draw students from all attendance areas. District Conversion Charters serve students from the district’s normal attendance area. Students from neighboring districts are able to attend through school choice or board to board transfers, business as usual. This charter would be a district conversion charter; students attending MHS through school choice and board to board transfers continue to be MHS students.

DonorsChoose: Summer Cheerleading Camp
Help me give my students items they need for summer camp. We need t-shirts, shorts and tank tops. We are a small organization and would appreciate any help!
Football season will be here before we know it. Parents can get a jump start by registering their son for little league football and/or their daughter for little league cheerleading early.

The Mountainburg Board of Education meets once a month unless a special meeting is needed. A study session will be held at 5:15 and the business session will be at 6:00 PM. Meetings are held downstairs in the Mountainburg Administration Building.
