INCubator Expanding to Pieper High School
We are excited to share that Comal ISD's INCubator program is now being offered at Pieper High, Smithson Valley High, and Canyon High. INCubator is a Career & Technical Education course offering students an authentic entrepreneur experience. Students will create and fully develop a product or service start-up while also discussing foundational business topics.
We need your help serving as Coaches, Mentors, and Advisors who can share subject matter expertise within the business industry, as well as provide student teams real world learning and share innovative concepts. Students then apply that learning to develop and competitively pitch their idea for a chance to earn real investments, just like Shark Tank!

Leadership Launch
CISD’s Leadership Launch is retreat for over 200 Principals, Assistant Principals, Academic Deans, Curriculum Instructional Coaches, and Support Services personnel. Launch allows administrators time to team build, focus on strategic priorities, develop action plans, and set the tone to thrive beginning on day one of welcoming our staff and students. New To Comal Teacher Launch
In August, all New-to-Comal Teachers for the 23-24 school year attended a learning opportunity event that introduces Comal ISD culture, standards and processes needed for a smooth transition to the classroom. Breakout sessions based on teaching roles included Curriculum, Student Supports, Human Capital, Comal ISD Initiatives and more! Thank you to PBK Architects for sponsoring lunch to welcome our newest district employees.
Texas PTA Launch
Texas PTA LAUNCH was held July 21-23 in Dallas for their signature summer training event and annual meeting. Thank you Pfluger Architects for sponsoring Comal ISD's Meet-n-Greet at Launch allowing over 60 district PTA leaders to network and collaborate for the new school year.
Local Scholarship Donors
This year, local scholarship donors awarded $592,622 to Comal ISD graduating seniors from across the district, a number that surpassed the district's goal and showcases the importance of community support. Some of these awesome partners gathered for an appreciation breakfast in June to celebrate the achievement. Thank you to our local non-profits, agencies, businesses and families that provide these scholarship opportunities to grow greatness in our students.
