Belong. Inspire. Grow.
Straight from the Hardt
Hello Ridgeline Families- Today is a real milestone in the history of Ridgeline High—we successfully made it to Christmas Break! While our students have been working hard in class and stayed busy with their activities, they still managed to have a fun and festive winter Spirit Week! Can I just say- we have the BEST kids! I truly enjoy what I do because of the kids and great people I work with! I have a lot of principal friends from around the area and as I talk with them about what’s happening at their schools and what’s happening at Ridgeline, it confirms the purpose of our mission. BELONGING and relationships are the key to a positive culture. The staff and students at Ridgeline will always share a special bond because we are all a part of creating something new. When you build a school environment together, the process also builds trust and pride.
Make it a great Holiday Season! See you all back in 2022! --Mr. Hardt
Unity in the Community- Blanket making Night
We wanted to express our appreciation to everyone that made our first annual Blanket Night a success. It was great to see you and your families enjoying a holiday night out. Thank you for your fleece donations, scissors, promotion and attendance.
We estimate we had over 200 people in attendance and made 244 blankets. Job well done, Falcons!
Falcon Link Crew
Our RHS Falcon Link Crew Leaders taught the "Making Choices" lesson on Friday, December 10th in the Freshmen Leadership Classes. The purpose was to help our freshmen see that using their available resources and support around them can help them in making decisions in their daily life, as well as when making choices about their long term plans and goals. Great job LEADERS!
Graphic Arts Students
Officer Mark Holthaus 'hired" four of our Graphic Arts students to work on recruitment flyers for the job openings in the Liberty Lake Police Department. Shown in the photo from left to right are Bella, Preston, Officer Holthaus, Braylon and Hunter. The two flyers chosen are also shown. Congratulations on a job well done Falcon Designers! The COPE Junior Health Scholar (JHS) program is a great opportunity for high school students, 16-18 years old, who are interested in the healthcare field to gain clinical experience while interacting with all levels of medical staff to better understand the dynamics of a hospital environment. Students will receive an initial training where they will learn the basics of US health care. As a clinical program, we offer valuable opportunities to enhance the skills potential healthcare professionals will need to emphasize in their future careers.
Junior Health Scholars are able to become a member of the patient care team and aid hospital staff by answering call lights, rounding, assisting with repositioning patients, delivering water and blankets, discharge patients, and re-stock commonly used items. JHS students are given the opportunity to observe procedures and converse directly with a range of hospital staff including: CNAs, Nurses, Physicians, Respiratory Therapists, Physical Therapists, and more.
We will be holding an informational meeting on Tuesday the 21st of December at 6:00 PM Pacific Time! We would like to invite teachers, students, and parents/guardians to register with this link: https://copehealthsolutions.zoom.us/meeting/register/tJwtc-2pqTsrG9J5LU2q-HtfYIBCLi1ZTf6v
