Principal's Comment
Kia ora e te Whanau
Our Manaaki syndicate went on an exploration trip to Napier City on Wednesday.
Classes learnt about the legend of Pania, visited the MTG and carried out various fun activities on Marine Parade such as scavenger hunts. Room 10 completed a beach clean-up.
I was so proud to receive the following email from a staff member of the Napier City Council this morning about Room 10's efforts:
"I was walking along the Parade on Tuesday and I saw a large group of your students doing a waste clean-up.
They had all the right equipment also.
I was super impressed with the effort they put in for about 2hrs it seemed."
"As I said, a huge well done to the students and I’d be happy to pass this onto the Mayor."
Thanks Maanaki Classes for representing our school so proudly!
Have a wonderful weekend!
Nga mihi,
Steve
