Message from Mr. Kingery
Dear Art Rutkin Families,
We are nearing the end of the first quarter on November 8th. Teachers will be working on the first quarter academic feedback forms that will be shared with parents and guardians through an email link by November 16th. This information should reflect what was discussed during the Family Partnership Conferences during the week of Oct. 23rd-27th. Please contact your child’s teacher for any follow up questions, or information
Here are a few things to keep in mind as we continue a strong home-to-school connection to best support your child’s social and academic growth.
After Family Partnership Conferences:
Follow up on any plan of action agreed upon by you, your child’s teacher and your child.
Stay in touch with the teacher. You may send a note, email or leave a message on the teacher’s phone with any questions that you have later this school year.
Review and discuss what was said during the conference with your child more than once.
Be sure to celebrate any successes and positive comments the teacher shared. Use this as a chance to praise your child!
If you have not scheduled and attended a conference, please do so soon. Our goal is that we meet with every child’s parents or guardians.
You will receive the regular report card in February, April and June. Please note that there is a teacher work day on November 9th, and we will be observing Veterans Day on November 10th. Also, there will be no school on November 22nd-24th for the Thanksgiving Holiday. We will all look forward to enjoying some time with friends and family.
With Gratitude,
Mr. Kingery
Thank you PSO and Art Rutkin Families
A big thank you to our PSO and Art Rutkin Families for providing us with snacks, sparkling waters and lunch during the Family Partnership Days. The lunch was delicious and snacks hit the spot.
We appreciate you. 💜💜💜

Health Room Clothes Donations needed
Have you cleaned out your child's closet recently? Do you have gently-used clothing that you are planning to donate? Please keep the health room in mind as our drawers are bare. We are looking for boys and girls clothing; elastic-waist pants and underwear.

School Cafeteria Update
As shared on all our menus, the menu is subject to change and determined by what products we are able to get from our vendors. We are currently experiencing the following challenges:
- There is a shortage of chocolate milk due to a manufacturing issue with the milk cartons.
- The cafeterias are also still experiencing some supply chain issues due to manufacturing shortages, and food industry transportation, and delivery challenges.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your patience, understanding, and partnership in nourishing our students.
