What is a chemical relaxer?

A chemical relaxer is used to permanently straight overly curly hair to a straight form.

The chemical used to straighten hair :

  • Thio
  • Sodium Hydroxide

2 types of application:

  • Virgin
  • Retouch

Chemical Relaxers come in a cream form and are applied only to the new growth hair.
