Go CHIEFS! What an amazing game and nail-biter! It was a great night with a snow day to boot for extra rest!
In Disney news, our attendance has dropped tremendously due to several illnesses. We continue to work through sub shortages as our staff also is not exempt from the different germs going around. Our custodian has done a deep clean of the building and we continue to have our custodial crew wipe down door handles throughout the day. We encourage that students are practicing good hygiene at home, not sharing food/drink items with friends at school and getting plenty of rest. Should your child have a fever of 100.5 or higher, do not send them to school. Students must be 24 hour fever free before returning to school. In addition, there is not a quarantine protocol at SPS. Covid falls under the same policy as 24 hour fever free return to school. Our students health and safety are utmost important to us. If you should have any questions regarding the policies, please let us know.
In other news, Valentine's parties are coming and we are getting ready to enter our busy season with lots of activity. Please continue to check our Facebook page and look for the Digest to keep updated on events. This month's big event is Bingo Night sponsored by our Student Ambassadors. You can get the information in the graphic below. This was a popular event last year.
