LMS Tiger Talk
November 3, 2023
Principal's Message
Tiger Families,
I hope everyone made it through a cold and snowy Halloween unscathed this week! As we coast into November, we have a LOT going on here at LMS over the next few weeks. Winter sports are starting up, concerts continue on with choir and band performances coming up, and our Addams Family production opened up last night. The Addams Family was a packed house for opening night, and our kids in the cast and crew did an AMAZING job with their hard work over the past few months being on full display. A special thank you to our directors and parent volunteers who put in so much time and energy to pull this off for our students. Get out and see the show this weekend! Details for purchasing tickets can be found below.
A reminder that we will not have school next Friday, November 10 as we honor Veteran's Day.
Have a great weekend, everyone!
Take care and Go Tigers!

LMS Drama Presents "The Addams Family"
Celebrate the wackiness in every family with the Broadway musical adapted for middle school-age performers! Wednesday Addams, the ultimate princess of darkness, has grown up and fallen in love with a sweet, smart young man from a respectable family whom her parents have never met. She confides in her father and begs him not to tell her mother. Now, Gomez Addams must do something he’s never done before– keep a secret from his beloved wife, Morticia. Everything will change for the whole family on the fateful night they host a dinner for Wednesday’s “normal” boyfriend and his parents.
We hope to see you there! Purchase tickets here. Showtimes are the following:
Fri, 11/3 at 7 PM
Sat, 11/4 at 3 PM

Reminders
Bus Safety Reminder
Loveland Tiger Families,
Our highest priority is for the safety of our students and staff, which includes the ride on the bus to and from school each day. As the month of October winds down, we wanted to remind everyone of some bus safety precautions, especially because October represents National School Bus Safety Week.
Here are some safety tips to keep in mind to review with your bus rider (student reminders):
Be at the bus stop before the scheduled pickup time.
Never chase a bus, this can be dangerous as the driver may not be able to see you.
Remain at the safety spot until the bus has pulled away.
Students should report any safety concerns to the driver immediately.
Here are some parent/guardian reminders:
Contact the appropriate administrator (listed below) for any changes for your bus rider. Students are not permitted to board buses they are not designated to ride.
Parents should NOT approach the bus driver and/or board a school bus at the bus stop to discuss any concerns.
All safety concerns and discussions should take place with the Transportation Department Director or the appropriate building administrator. Listed below is the contact information to report any bus concerns.
