December Newsletter

December may be a short month for school days but it is jammed packed with activities. Please look over the information below. We have a lot of fun things happening at Belle Aire!

Mr. Cartwright and Mrs. Haithcock

In addition to the 12 Days of Giving, Belle Aire will be sending home some fun Math and Reading activities during the month of December. Our theme will be centered around Gingerbread Men! Students will read books during library about gingerbread men, they will sample a gingerbread cookie during lunch and a couple activities will be sent home for students to complete with family members (optional). If students return the activities completed, they will be entered into a drawing for a chance to win a gingerbread house kit. Our hope is to support families in making memories and spending quality time together!

Candy Bar Fundraiser:

Students will be selling candy bars for Belle Aire PTO again this school year. A permission slip went home on November 27th. Once students return their permission slip, they will be permitted to take one box of candy bars to sell. The candy bars will be sent home with students on Friday December 1st. The sale will run December 1st to December 15th.

Penguin Patch Santa Shop:

The Santa Shop is back! Students will be able to shop during their scheduled library time and the shop will be open December 11th to December 15th.
