Goodbye 2023-2024
As the 2023-2024 school year concludes We want to thank our staff for all their hard work and effort they put in this year. We also want to thank the parents that supported our students and staff throughout the year. The learning experience is a team effort and support from parents greatly influences a child's education. Finally We want to thank the students that worked hard and took advantage of the learning opportunities that they were presented. We hope all the Joyce staff and students and their families have a safe, restful and enjoyable summer vacation.
Mr. Qualey
Mr. Mills
Congratulations on your retirement
The Joyce Middle School community would like to thank Ms. Laura McGrath for her years of service to the JMS students and wish her a healthy and lengthy retirement.

Lost Chromebook Chargers
Any student that lost a charger or did not return one will not receive a charger next year. You may purchase a replacement charger through Amazon by clicking here.
2024-2025 Team Placement
Due to some changes in programming for next year I will not have the teams ready until mid-July. I will be emailing both parent and students the placements around mid-July, but hopefully sooner. Suggested supply lists will be included in that email. Unfortunately the JMS will not be able to offer suggested supply kits for purchase this year.
Governor Healy announced a new program to help low-income families.
The program, called Summer EBT, will use federal funds to allow qualifying families to apply for a one-time cash payment of $120. That works out to $40 per month to help cover the cost of food through July, August, and September.
Massachusetts families who are already enrolled in the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) or the state’s Transitional Aid to Families with Dependent Children program will automatically receive the payments and don’t need to take any additional steps.
Families who are not automatically enrolled through participation in another assistance program can apply for the Summer EBT program by visiting dtaconnect.eohhs.mass.gov between June 15 and Sept. 7.
