Dr. Nadim Nassif
Nadim Nassif is an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology, Education, and Physical Education at the Faculty of Humanities in Notre Dame University – Louaize (NDU), Lebanon. He is the academic advisor of the physical education and sports major and former manager of the NDU FIFA/CIES Sports Management Program. He has a BA in Physical Education from the University of Balamand, a FIFA Master in Sport Management, an MPhil in Sport History from DeMontfort University, and a PhD in Sport Sociology from Grenoble-Alpes University. His research interests encompass sport history, coaching, and sport management, mainly in the field of sport governance.
He created the World Ranking of Countries in Elite Sport (WRCES), which aims to give an accurate evaluation of the performances of all countries participating in all the internationally recognized sports. He is also the fitness and assistant coach of the Lebanese junior, men, and women futsal national teams, member of the coaching staff of the Lebanese Mixed Martial Arts national team, and consultant for the International Mixed Martial Arts Federation.
