Come be a part of Back to School Sunday at St. Eugene! All students, no matter what school, are invited to wear their school uniform or a school tee at 9:30 mass this Sunday. Father will bless our students and teachers as we begin the new school year! Afterward, everyone is invited to gather for breakfast in Ross Hall. Thank you to everyone who signed up to help! Nearly every slot is filled! Sunday Breakfast is a great time to get to know other St. Eugene families, so please consider helping with this ministry beyond this weekend.

This coming Tuesday is our first Spirit Tee Tuesday of the school year! Students and staff may opt to wear any St. Eugene shirt (sold by the school/church in recent years) with nice blue jeans or uniform bottoms. No ripped/torn/embellished/colored jeans or jean shorts/skirts/skorts allowed.

As stated in our handbook, the Catholic School of St. Eugene’s logo, the school name, and other school-related branding may not be used without obtaining written consent of the school principal. This includes, but is not limited to shirts or gear for CSSE-related teams or clubs. Existing items that were not approved by the principal are NOT approved for Spirit Day.

Save the date(s)! Parent nights for all parents/guardians are the second week of school. It is REQUIRED that at least one parent/guardian from each family attend. This is an adult only event, so please make childcare arrangements in advance (infants may stay with parents).

Please arrive at the school gym by 6pm for a presentation from Mrs. Goldsworthy. Afterward, you will be dismissed to your student(s) classrooms to meet with their child’s teachers in a group setting to discuss expectations and curriculum for the school year. If you have more than one student classroom to visit that evening, we suggest parents/guardians split up to cover multiple classrooms. If this is not possible, please contact your student’s teacher to make alternate arrangements. Middle School parents will remain in the gym for all presentations on their designated night.

Just a reminder, students may NOT bring toys or trading cards to school. We have plenty of toys in Extended Care and available for recess. Just leave the home stuff at home!

Please remember to read up on our policy in the school handbook regarding illness. Several schools have reported spikes in cases of COVID and Flu already this school year. Regardless of vulnerability, please remember that COVID, Flu, and Strep are very contagious. Please keep your children home if they are ill/contagious, and don't forget to report absences to the school office via absence report form or by calling 405-751-0067. Please email your student's teacher as well.

SAFE ENVIRONMENT ALL ARCHDIOCESAN/PARISH/SCHOOL EMPLOYEES & ADULT VOLUNTEERS who have contact with minors or vulnerable adults must complete the online Safe & Sacred Training including a background check.
