Next week will be Chapter One Week at Mansfield High School, brought to you by Student Council! StuCo will be providing gifts, activities, and giveaways throughout the week to welcome all of our Tigers back to school! We want everyone to know that they belong at MHS!

Tiger Strong! You Belong!

Next Tuesday, August 22, from 5:30pm-7:00pm is Meet the Teacher night for MHS! You are invited to this "come and go" style event and get to know your student's teachers, spend some time getting to know the campus, and celebrate being a Tiger!

Using Edulog, parents can track their student's bus to see its progress on their bus route. To do so, parents should download the Edulog Parent Portal app.

Other things you can do:

• Register student for bus service
• Access designated bus stop times and locations
• See real-time information about the location of the bus
• Receive notifications when the bus is approaching the bus stop

How to make changes to your Skyward notifications in Family Access.

• Log into Family Access
• Click on My Account (top right corner)
• When the Account Settings screen opens, there is place for your email address and up to three phone numbers.
• Please note – Each parent/guardian can enter one email address to receive communication via Skyward Message Center.
• Once changes are made, click Save.

The MISD Bass Fishing team will have its first meeting on Wednesday, August 23 here on the MHS campus (Daniel Maberry MAC building).

We have been issuing student IDs for the past three days through social studies classes. We will continue with this on Monday. By the end of the day Monday, we should have made it through all of our social studies classes. If any student did not get an ID through their social studies class or they do not have a social studies class on their schedule, they should plan on getting an ID during lunch on Tuesday.

Did you know that, as part of Mansfield ISD's Vision 2030, your student has a personalized scorecard to track their life, college and career readiness? We will be working with students throughout the year to make them aware of their scorecard and to work toward accomplishing goals with them. You can view your student's scorecard through their Edugence account or you can view a general scorecard by clicking HERE.

Did you know that MISD offers an optional district-issued device protection program? This protection covers accidental damage to devices for students in grades 5-12. The enrollment window for coverage runs through September 1, 2023. CLICK HERE for more information.
