ROOSEVELT BEAR TRACKS
JANUARY. 2023
PRINCIPAL NEWS
We hope you had a wonderful and happy Winter break and are ready to be back at school. January starts the time when we see the most growth from our students because they know what to expect from their teachers, they are back in the habit of working at school and all the instructional pieces start to fit together. We are looking forward to how much our students grow, academically and socially, between now and spring. Mid-year assessments start this month for your child. You can help by making sure your child gets enough sleep each night and exercises each day. Also, make sure your child attends school every day and on time. Consistency has a huge positive impact on children. If your life is busy, like most, a calendar will help so that your child/ren know what activities are planned for each day and it will also help them feel settled because they know what to expect.
