Associate Principal 2024
It is with great pleasure that we announce that Mrs Tracy White has won the position of 2nd Associate Principal, here at Inglewood Primary School, commencing 2024. Tracy has a wealth of knowledge, drive and enthusiasm for ALL things education and in particular IPS. Tracy will strengthen Kaupapa and add value to initiatives with the newly formed team of Juliet, Phillip and herself at Senior Leadership Level, working alongside our FABULOUS wider team here at IPS.
Personally I am gutted not be working alongside Tracy in her new role, however I am very thankful for the time I have had with her over the years.
I am sure you will all join me in congratulating Tracy as and when you see her.

We are delighted to announce Ms Caitlin Amos will be joining our Panitahi Whānau 2024 teaching year 1 & 2, fulltime - fixed term. Caitlin is a young, yet experienced teacher, who is excited to join our team here at IPS.
Adding to the team for 2024, we welcome Mrs Candice Bailey, who will be joining the Pouākai Whānau as Year 5 & 6 teacher, fulltime - fixed term. Candice is well known to our tamariki and is looking forward to coming back and solely focussing on teaching
We are also super excited to welcome back Katherine Banks, who has been out on Maternity Leave. Katherine is not returning to fulltime teaching yet, however is coming back for three days a week to provide release and teach with Mrs Tracy White our newly appointed Associate Principal 2024.
We sadly farewell
Mrs Marinda Van Dyk who has been part of our Panitahi whānau here at IPS. Maranda is a very talented kaiako / teacher who brings immense joy and comfort to ALL at IPS. Luckily Marinda is staying within our community as she is heading up the road to inglewood High School, teaching Mathematics. Thank you Marinda for your laughter, compassion and dedication to teaching. You will always be part of our whānau here at Inglewood Primary. Please make sure you come in and see Marinda before she leaves at the end of the year.
Te Kāhui Ako o Kōhanga Moa Learning Support Coordinators News
We would like to take this opportunity to farewell one of our wonderful Kāhui Ako Learning
Support Coordinators, Lynda Sammon. Lynda joined us when the role was developed in 2020

Learning Support Coordinator in that area. She will be missed.
We would like to welcome Shelley Orme who will begin the Learning Support Coordinator role at
the start of 2024. Shelley brings a wealth of experience and knowledge in education, especially
Learning Support. She moves from the role of Deputy Principal at Devon Intermediate, and also
has previous experience as SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator) and Ministry of
