Cedar Hill Announces 2024 Football Schedule
The 2024 Cedar Hill High School Football Schedule definitely has a Best Southwest feel to it, with four of the Longhorns’ 10 opponents from that region.
Cedar Hill, which reached the fourth round of the playoffs with an 8-6 record, will open the season with three consecutive non-district road games. They will play four home games this season.
Six of the Longhorns’ 2024 opponents reached the playoffs last season, with two state champions.
The Longhorns will open the season at Midlothian on August 30. It will be their first game against the Panthers since 2015.
Cedar Hill and Midlothian were archrivals for much of the 20th Century.
Both Longhorns head coach Nick Ward and assistant head coach Brice Musgrove were assistant coaches on Midlothian’s 12-1 team in 2022.
