2023 Thrive Teen Social Learning Group
Thrive is a social learning group for autistic teens and young adults (developmental ages 14-22) looking to participate in discussions and grow their understanding of society's unwritten rules.
Using Dr. Elizabeth Laugeson’s innovative book, “The Science of Making Friends: Helping Socially Challenged Teens and Young Adults,” the group facilitator of Thrive provides individuals with evidence-based tools for building friendships and relationships. The group facilitator is an adult on the autism spectrum who provides a safe environment and encourages individuals to discuss experiences with like-minded peers.
When: Thrive meets virtually on the second Thursday of each month from 6:30 P.M. - 8:30 P.M. CST (unless otherwise noted in the session list)
- You do not need to attend all sessions to participate.
- You will receive the Zoom link in the registration confirmation and reminder emails.
- Reminder emails will be sent 3 days before each session.
Teen Programs do not require an AutismTN membership.
