New Carpool System Coming to OCE
As you know, we’ve had an ongoing issue with traffic congestion on Olive Chapel and Kelly Roads. For the past several months, we have been working diligently with the Apex Police Department and members of our community to develop a system that will help alleviate congestion while keeping our students and staff safe.
On Monday, June 26, we will begin to utilize a new carpool system. Similar to the drive-thru line at our local Chick-fil-A, we will use a double-stack system; one lane will become two lanes, then will revert back to one lane.
On this website, you will find materials we created - including a fun video - we hope you find helpful.
While this won’t reduce the time spent in the carpool line, it will improve traffic conditions that have long plagued the area surrounding our school.

EOG Volunteers Needed
We need your help! The 3rd, 4th, and 5th Graders at OCE are preparing to take their End of Grade Tests (EOG) for Reading, Math & 5th Grade Science. Our testing coordinator, Ms. Angela Johnson, could really use some extra volunteers to help with this process.
