GLOW GAZETTE
WEEK OF JANUARY 22, 2024
Message from the Principal
GLOW Students & Families,
We hope you had a great, albeit COLD, weekend!
We are excited to be back into the typical routine of 5-day weeks for a while. Educators often call this time "the meat" of the school year, as 3rd quarter is a pivotal time for teaching and learning. Parents can help support us ensuring that your child is present and on time for school each day! In doing so, students will be able to access instruction and continue to grow academically and personally at GLOW.
The newsletter below shares a variety of ways that students can be involved in extracurricular activities, as well as opportunities for families within our community. Be sure to check it out!
Wishing you all a great week ahead!
Kate B. Tayloe
Principal

PBIS Celebration: FASHION SHOW
Each month, we celebrate students who have met our behavior expectations by demonstrating what it means to be Respecful, Responsible, Safe, and Kind. Students who do not receive an office referral throughout the month are invited to participate in our monthly celebration.
On Friday, February 2nd we will celebrate those students who do not receive an office referral between January 3rd and February 2nd. To celebrate, students will be invited to a GLOW Fashion Show! Students are asked to "Show Up & GLOW Up" by dressing to impress in their best FORMAL wear! There will be opportunities to participate in a fashion show with lights, cameras, and music!
Students who are not eligible to participate or choose not to participate will wear their typical GLOW uniform on Friday, February 2nd.
