The West Linn-Wilsonville School District is deeply committed to meeting the needs of all of our students. We hold firm the belief that all students should have the opportunity to learn, grow, and go to school in their neighborhood with their community.

The purpose of our Parent Collaboration Group is:

• To provide input to the district in establishing priorities and goals for WLWV schools in supporting students with disabilities
• To be key communicators in developing deeper understanding around complex issues in special education
• To support collaboration in the special education process between parents and district educator
• To support the awareness of resources available to parents through the special education process and in positive community inclusion

We are thinking forward to the 22-23 school year and preparing to welcome incoming kindergarten families! On February 1st we will have the opportunity to meet and connect with our families of incoming kindergartners who are served by Special Education. Throughout the spring our school teams will be collaborating with families, getting to know their early childhood student, introducing the family to the school team, planning for each transition and holding transition meetings. This is an exciting time to plan with our new students and families!

We have a Listserv for parents of students who receive support through Student Services! Consider Opting into this listserv so that we can communicate updates and opportunities for you and your family!
